General Glazing At Avon Valley Glass we stock all types of general household and commercial glass that is required to complete day to day installations and repairs. Perhaps you require a lid for a fish tank, glass for a picture frame or a small window. Feel free to come down to our workshop where we can usually help you while you wait. We can also cut holes into glass and we can supply round, or shaped glass cut to size for your small project. Please note however, not all glass is suitable for cutting, such as toughened safety glass and not all jobs can be done while you wait. Stone Chip Repairs If your windscreen is only chipped, it can usually be repaired, provided the chip meets the criteria for size and position. However, if the glass is cracked, it cannot be repaired, and a replacement is required. A windscreen repair is faster and cheaper than a replacement. At Avon Valley Glass we try to save you time and money by repairing windscreens whenever possible. Some chips can be quickly and easily patched up, without compromising the strength and safety of the windscreen. Other, more serious damage will require a full replacement. Getting your windscreen repaired is better for the environment and is cheaper than replacing it. If your car insurance includes cover for glass damage, you can usually get the repair done for free.Read more

Alu-Grille® are perfectly suited to a wide range of window applications as well as both hinged and sliding doors. Finding the right balance between appearance and performance is not always easy. All products are custom made to enhance the design of your home. Alu-Grille® have a 7mm strand thickness and meet the requirements of the Australian Security Door Standard AS5039. To obtain maximum benefit from Alu-Grille®, all doors made incorporating these grilles should also be manufactured to comply with AS5039 and installed to comply with AS5040.
